Avocado Face Mask

Avocado Face Mask
Ingredients:
1/2 avocado, green and ripe
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3 tbsp honey

Avocado face mask can serve with a good deep moisturizing treatment for dry skin type. If you have avocado oil handy, you can use 2 teaspoons of the oil in place of the fresh avocado.

Preparation:

Mash the avocado nicely. Add the honey and the lime to it. Make sure the honey is runny and not very thick. You can heat it a little to make it runny. Mix the ingredients nicely. Apply the pack on your face and leave for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse with cool water for instantly glowing skin.

Tip: If your skin is very dry, cut the quantity of lemon juice into half. I've tried this and the result is good!

Homemade Facial Masks for NORMAL SKIN - Lettuce & Olive Oil

Homemade Facial Masks for NORMAL SKIN - Lettuce & Olive Oil

For normal skin type ladies, here is some knowledge to share with you all from my readings. Lettuce leaves are best home remedies for normal skin. All lettuce is a good source of chlorophyll and rich in vitamin K. Iceberg lettuce provides a good source of choline. Romain lettuce is the most nutrient-dense of all the lettuce varieties and is an excellent source of vitamins A, B1 and C, folic acid, manganese and chromium.  Olive oil is a fruit oil obtained from the olive and with its high content of antioxidative substances. It's also suitable to apply it into homemade natural facial mask at home.

Ingredients:
lettuce leaves
olive oil
2 tsp lemon juice
mineral water
warm milk

Dip two large lettuce leaves in olive oil and sprinkle on them a few drops of lemon juice. Place them on both sides of your face, and then cover them with a paper towel dipped in mineral water. Wipe your face with a cotton ball soaked in warm milk, then rinse with boiled warm water.

Homemade Juice Mask for Oily Skin

Homemade Juice Mask for Oily Skin

Recently I have some friends told me that they always have this oily skin problem pestering them. If you notice that the oily skin always produces an excess of sebum or oil on face and trigger the pores-blocked. The follicle, or pore, size appears enlarged. This can cause the complexion to appear sallow, shiny, and even thick. Often times oily skin is more at risk for breakouts because of dead cells and sebum clogging the follicles. While there are several ways to help treat that obnoxious shine, it can seem never ending and costly.

You can help treat oily skin with fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other items right in your kitchen. It only takes 15 minutes and can be a refreshing home spa treatment for little cost to you, for example strawberry and lemon juice contain natural astringents.

Strawberry has more vitamin C than citrus fruits. Egg whites when beaten fluffy, clean impurities. Lemon juice is a mild bleach which rich in vitamin C as well. For oily skin, here is a homemade juice mask to be recommended.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1 1/2tsp honey
  • 1 egg white
  • Optional: 2 drops of your favorite essential oils

Preparation:

Mash or blend the above ingredients.
Smooth over face.
Let it stay for 10 minutes.
Rinse
off with a warm washcloth.
